Salary:

About the Role:

You turn the plan into a festival. You will build the systems, budgets and vendor relationships that let TBF run a three-day, three-court event with livestreamed games, fan experiences and hospitality, first in Atlanta and then in four cities a year.

Requirements:

What you will do:

• Own the event budget and deliver each festival on time and on budget.
• Negotiate and manage venue, flooring, bleachers, security, staffing, officials, AV and production vendors.
• Build standard operating procedures, run-of-show, staffing plans and checklists that can be repeated in every new city.
• Oversee team operations: scheduling, travel stipends, hotel blocks, credentials and team services.
• Lead the recruiting coordinators so the men's, women's and high school fields are filled on schedule.
• Coordinate sponsor fulfillment with the Partnership Manager (signage, activations, hospitality, livestream inventory).
• Manage owned equipment (courts, backstops, scoreboards, broadcast kit), including logistics between cities.
• Oversee back-office work with the outsourced bookkeeper: vendor payments, insurance, permits, sanctioning and compliance.

How success is measured:

• Each event delivered within budget (contingency under 7%).
• Fields filled by deadline (24 teams per field per city).
• Sponsor deliverables completed; safety and incident record.

What you bring:

• 8+ years running large live events, tournaments or venues, including multi-day events with 5,000+ attendees.
• Proven budget ownership and vendor negotiation.
• Experience managing staff, contractors and volunteers.

Nice to have:

• Background in college athletics operations or basketball tournaments.
• Knowledge of NCAA and NFHS event rules.

About The Basketball Festival:

The Basketball Festival (TBF) is a multi-city early-season basketball event that puts mid-major NCAA Division I programs and elite high school teams on one stage. Each November, TBF hosts a three-day festival in each host city: the Midmajor Showcase™ (D1 men's), HOOPBOREE® (D1 women's, from 2028) and GETSEEN® (elite boys' and girls' high school), surrounded by the Basketball Village™ fan fest, the 1891 Club™ courtside hospitality lounge and The Kickoff™ opening night. Every game streams on our own platform, LiveHoopsTV™. We launch in Atlanta in November 2027 and grow to Philadelphia (2028), the Midwest (2029) and the West (2030).
